Savannah Gifts

Earlier this year, Caroline Baldwin and her daughters Lou and Holly have very kindly donated a projector to our Community Film Club — and what a difference it has made! The picture sharpness and screen size have noticeably improved.

The projector originally belonged to Peter Baldwin — Caroline’s late husband and Lou and Holly’s beloved dad - who had a long and illustrious career in the film industry. Sadly, Peter passed away in 2024 from pancreatic cancer.

We are incredibly touched that his projector is now helping us continue to share the magic of film within our community. We very much hope Peter would have been pleased to know it’s bringing people together to enjoy cinema.

As a thank you for this generous donation, we will be raising money at future screenings to support Pancreatic Cancer UK who supported Caroline, Lou and their family during Peter’s illness.
