Windlesham Film Club Presents: Cinema Paradiso, August 2026 Movie Feature

Join us on Friday 21st August for one of the most loved international films ever made — the Oscar-winning Italian classic Cinema Paradiso.

Set in a small Sicilian village, this moving and nostalgic story follows Salvatore, a successful film director returning home after the death of Alfredo, the projectionist who first inspired his love of cinema as a child. Through memories of friendship, first love and evenings spent in the local picture house, the film becomes a heartfelt celebration of the magic of movies and the communities they bring together.

Foreign language films are always popular with our members and Cinema Paradiso is a perfect film to experience on the big screen — emotional, funny, beautifully filmed and accompanied by the unforgettable music of Ennio Morricone.
